Yoshie Kuroda
2020.07 - 2020.08

PARADISE AIR staff has always shared with other staff members what they have seen, heard, and felt after visiting other artist-in-residence programs and art facilities. The “See the world from Artist in Residence” event series is open to anyone who hopes to participate and is interested in hearing about their experiences.
We took a pause during the Covid-19 pandemic, but are now back after a three-year interval!
This time, we will be organizing a special version of the online event from the site of Treasure Hill Artist Village (THAV) in Taipei, Taiwan.
PARADISE AIR’s former resident artist, Yoshie Kuroda, is currently in the midst of her residency at THAV. Thanks to her collaboration, we will report on the artist’s life and creation process during the residency. And it is also our honor to invite Catherine Lee, Director of THAV, as a guest to introduce more about THAV.
Now that the ban on international travel has been lifted, this is a sharing event for artists who are preparing to spread their wings to artist residencies overseas, and for those who are involved in the management of residencies. The event will be bilingual (Japanese and Chinese), so questions and comments in Chinese are welcome. Please feel free to join us.
