Terri Bird
2024.01 - 2024.02

Since the beginning of January 2024, artists from Australia, Estonia, and the U.S. have been visiting PARADISE AIR to conduct research and creations in various locations. In this event, we will share the learning and creations gained through their researches.
From 2pm, there will be a talk about the research in Chiba, Fukushima, and Hokkaido, an exhibition of video work, and a performance of poetry readings. From 4pm, a talk on the achievements of RETREAT ART ROUTES, a collaborative program with Poland and Estonia, will be held.
There will also be an exhibition of works by artists currently in residence under the shortstay program, as well as photographs taken through each artist’s research.
This will be a day to experience the culture and history of Japan and the world as these artists have experienced it through their stay in Matsudo! You are welcome to bring your own souvenirs, so please feel free to join us!
