Matsudo International Science Art Festival | River Night Festival

Live performances by SHORTSTAY Program resident artists were held on the riverside of Matsudo as part of the “Matsudo International Science Art Festival 2023 River Night Festival.”

Jez Riley French (UK) views sound as material and subject, exploring sounds outside of a particular place or category of our attention, and the act and art of listening to them. His practice extends beyond installation, performance, music, and text to include lectures and workshops.Phoebe Riley Low (UK) is an installation, sound and performance artist who explores documentation and transformation in materials such as sound, text, fabric, movement, video and reconstructed objects.PARADISE AIR invites the city of Matsudo to present a sound performance by musician Jez Riley French and artist Phoebe Riley Law.This will be the first presentation in about 5 years since PARADISE AIR invited them to Matsudo in 2018.
