Isao Kanemaki

Born in Aichi, Japan, in 1986. Videographer. Graduated from Tokyo Polytechnic University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Imaging Arts. He is involved in project-based planning and video production, mainly related to arts and culture. He has also performed in dance and theater productions to broaden his field of activities. Since 2016, he has worked as an educator/coordinator at the artist-in-residence program “PARADISE AIR” in Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture. His video work “Figures in the shadow, Figures in the light” was selected as a Jury Recommended Work for the Entertainment Division of the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival. In addition to video works, he participates in domestic and international art and culture projects and works across genres.
