Pete Jiadong Qiang

Pete Jiadong Qiang is an artist trained in architecture at Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, UK. His work focuses on the specific investigation between architectural and pictorial space in terms of a new ideal of hyperisation and gamification. His work is often referred as architectural maximalist, by frequently collaborating with maximalism artists, the new research ultimately reuses and reinterprets digital virtual tools to try to create a new interdisciplinary probing process through the contemporary art, architectural, technological and anthropological boundaries. He works with Ming as the collaborative art duo Hyperbation.
