Takeshi Hyakutou

Born in 1980. Making full use of a rental bicycle, Takeshi goes to places where industrial waste contractors and civil engineering and construction contractors gather, which exist in abundance along the JR Musashino Line and National Route 16. He photographs the scenery as if it were an accident caused by unconsciousness or lack of awareness.

Major solo exhibitions include Kaipon, honkbooks, Tokyo (2017), Site D., TAP Gallery, Tokyo (2016), and Busy, busy, busy, TAP Gallery, Tokyo (2015.) Major group exhibitions include VOCA2018: The Vision of Contemporary Art, The Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo (2018), Impurity / Immunity, Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo, Tokyo (2017), and Seize the Uncertain Day, Tokyo University of the Arts Museum (2017).
